Momentum

She's back!

By Sherry Greer

What is Momentum? When searching on Google I found the following: Momentum in a simple way is a quantity of motion. … If an object does not move then it has no momentum. However, in everyday life it has an importance but many people don’t recognize it. Momentum is just about every activity that involves motion. What does that mean to me? It is simple, I am in motion, I am ever evolving. I am now able to accept who I am without guilt, without disappointment from those I love and who love me. I go out and I do so freely and love every minute of that time. No one but myself has ever caused me to have a bad time going out. I will never have that happen again. In my sabbatical from posting to Kandi’s blog I have gone out multiple times both with friends and by myself. I have made new friends and continued friendships with others. Kandi always says “to get out there” and she is right. Go and be yourself, no one really cares what you have on. Be smart, stay safe.

In the last couple of months I went to my first trans convention, The Erie Gala. At first I didn’t want to go but I’m so happy Kandi talked me into it. I met many new friends and even had a professional photoshoot. I went out multiple times to dinner with both trans and cis women. I went to the salon to get my real hair cut and wig styled, I went thrifting and to lunch with a woman I met while volunteering for a Pride event, and I went to a Meetup event at a winery with five other women and had an amazing experience. Love yourself so you can truly love others.

Stay beautiful-Sherry

  1. Sherry,

We are all a work in progress, that’s for sure. I love hearing how you are progressing. It is visible in your photos too. Smile on!

  2. Sherry, I’m so happy to see you back and looking fabulous!

Momentum is hard to get started but, if well maintained and controlled, can be a very enjoyable experience. My problem with maintaining momentum is always the starts and stops of hiding from my family. Just means I have to work harder to recover it and not let it get out of control.

    Hugs, Tina

  3. I admire you forward momentum. I am in a little reverse right now but hope to get back to the positive side soon. I enjoy your stories. Thanks
    Donna

If you have been looking for an economical permanent hair removal solution, I cannot recommend this highly enough! It costs less than a single session at a laser hair removal place. It is almost completely painless and it actually works! I have been on an eight year quest for something like this!
